Doctor en Ciencias con mención en Física, grado otorgado por la Universidad de Santiago el año 2012. 

Además, posee una Ingeniería en Física (2008) y una Licenciatura en Física Aplicada (2007), ambas de la Universidad de Santiago. 

Ha ejercido como profesor de física continuamente desde el año 2010, para la Facultad de Ingeniería. 

Su especialización está en la Física del Estado Sólido, en el área de Magnetismo en la Materia Condensada. 

 

Sus habilidades como docente e investigador se desarrollan tanto en el ámbito teórico como en el ámbito experimental. Sus intereses en investigación se enfocan en el control de la magnetización en nanoestructuras magnéticas, tanto en estructuras aisladas, arreglos ordenados de nanoestructuras y películas delgadas, dando cabida a la ciencia básica y a las aplicaciones de estos sistemas.
